Install or update

1. Download the ZIP and extract it into a folder.
2. In Chrome, open chrome://extensions. In Edge, use edge://extensions.
3. Turn on Developer mode. Choose Load unpacked and select the extracted folder containing manifest.json.
4. Pin Professional Job Finder using the browser’s extensions menu. To update, replace the files in your existing extracted folder with v0.4.0, then press Reload on the extension card.

The extension needs temporary access to the tab you select and browser storage for your details and attempt history. It does not contain your OpenAI key.

Prepare a batch on your website

Go to the Job Board, open Prepare applications, select up to 10 roles and complete your information. Generate and review the CV and cover letter for every selected role. Start auto-apply unlocks after these steps. It sends your queue to this extension; open the extension, authorize the reviewed queue once and select Start / resume queue.

Version 0.4.0 is required. After replacing the extracted files, reload the extension and refresh your website tab. Use the same Chrome or Edge browser for both. Permission is requested only for supported job domains in your selected queue.

Or submit one selected application

1. Complete your professional profile and choose Export for extension.
2. Open an employer’s actual application form. Sign in if required.
3. Open the extension, import your profile and attach your reviewed CV. Add a reviewed cover letter if needed.
4. Select Inspect current application. Check the employer, job and details.
5. Authorize this selected job once, then select Auto-fill and submit this job. Indeed SmartApply and SEEK adapters advance through supported steps and submit without another confirmation. Review the saved documents and answers first.
6. If it stops, complete the missing fields or CAPTCHA yourself. Inspect again before continuing.

Check the result: “Confirmed” requires a recognised confirmation on the page. “Attempted” means a click was sent but receipt was not verified. Check the page or your email before retrying.

Indeed and SEEK support

GPT-6 Astra can match unanswered questions to facts in your imported profile. Enable it in the extension and sign in to this site in the same Chrome or Edge browser. The API key stays on the server; 10 Astra question requests per account per day are available. CV and cover-letter generation keep their existing model.

This preview is tested against controlled sample forms, not verified across live employer sites. Indeed SmartApply and SEEK have adapters based on inspected live screens, including SEEK’s au.seek.com address. They advance through supported steps and automatically submit the job you authorize. Final submission has not been tested against a real employer. Other platforms retain generic single-page support. The queue runs one selected application at a time, with a separate generated CV and cover letter for each role. It pauses on unsupported forms, destination changes, missing answers, CAPTCHA and consent controls. Full page reloads may require inspection. It never retries an unverified submission automatically. Live employer submissions remain unverified. Embedded forms and custom controls may need manual completion.
